UPDATED: NOV 11, 2021 9.6oz nitro can, from Arrow - Mason, best by 6/24/22. Really nice vanilla and graham cracker in the nose. Fantastic mocha type coffee and big cookie-like graham cracker, vanilla, dark chocolate in the flavor. Right up there with the Untitled Arts example as the better s'mores beers I tried this season, aroma-wise so far. Moderate to bigger sweet taste, light to moderate bitter, very mild sweet alcohol bite. Flavor has kind of lactose sweetness that reminds of the leftover milk in a finished bowl of cocoa puffs. Bigger body, kind of slick and syrupy. Very creamy. Light carbonation. Really awesome nitro smores stout.

UPDATED: OCT 7, 2021 Strong graham cracker, dark chocolate nose. Black, medium creamy tan head. Vanilla, cocoa. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. Is there a better brewery than Southern Tier for brewing pastry stouts? Fight me.

UPDATED: OCT 3, 2021 Can. Dark pour with a thin frothy tan head. Okay. This is exactly as advertised. Milky. Chocolately. And…I’ll be damned, it tastes like graham crackers. Also some roast that is mildly…sour? It isn’t too sweet…that’s the obvious concern…but it *is* super sweet. Whatever it tried to be, it did it well. I’m not sure a sour, milky chocolate graham cracker stout is the best idea, but I’m sure it’s the best one that ever tried to be!

UPDATED: SEP 25, 2021 12 oz. nitro can from Root Cellar. Pours dark brown to black in color with a medium sized creamy beige head. The aroma and flavor has everything you want in a s'mores stout, chocolate, vanilla, Graham crackers, marshmallow, caramel, nougat, the body and mouthfeel are solid, smooth nitro character, very nice pastry imperial stout at a great price point.

UPDATED: SEP 4, 2021 Aromas of insane s'mores chocolate vanilla marshmallow graham crackers nougat caramel toffee macchiato and nearly artificial flavors. Taste is just as nose with tons of chocolate cocoa nibs vanilla marshmallow graham crackers caramel macchiato latte toffee biscotti toasted bread and dark roasted malts. Overall, excellent stuff. Never had a s'mores stout that tasted more like s'mores. The nitro makes it extra creamy and thick too.

UPDATED: AUG 21, 2021 Pretty good beer. Can taste the chocolate and Graham and it's not overly sweet thank goodness. The Nitro thing I'm not so sure of would it have been better with just lower carbonation? Still a pretty good beer.

UPDATED: AUG 1, 2021 Draft. A- Chocolate, mild vanilla. A- Black color, black liquid, beige head. T- Chocolate, mild oak, vanilla. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Pretty tasty but White Elm still wins for best Smores beer. Loads of rich milk chocolate and vanilla/marshmallow but there was little detecable graham cracker. With a bit more of that this would be stellar.

UPDATED: APR 26, 2021 This is as close to Smore beer as you will find. The aroma is loaded with chocolate and graham cracker. The flavor is deep chocolate, loads of marshmallow and even hints of char.
Earlier Rating: 3/8/2020 Total Score: 3.7
