UPDATED: SEP 29, 2021 12 oz. bottle. Pours a crystal clear gold color with an off white head and great retention. Limited lacing. Streaming bubbles. Strong pumpkin pie aroma. The flavor follows the nose. Pumpkin pie spices throughout, with cinnamon being the most dominant. Soft boozy finish. Nice taste of fall without going too far. I still couldn't have more than one. The 8.6% ABV is pretty well hidden. Medium body. Medium carbonation. No bitterness.

UPDATED: SEP 24, 2021 One pint can. Pours coppery gold with a super dense white nitro head. Smells of spices. Creamy mouthfeel and contrasting flavors of cinnamon and malt with an alcohol bite. Bitter lingering finish. Interesting. Would not have more than one.

UPDATED: SEP 24, 2021 Dark gold pour with a nice two finger white head that dissipated to a thin covering. The aroma is a light maltiness. The flavor profile is pumpkin pie - pumpkin, allspice and cinnamon. It is a bit boozy but still very good.

UPDATED: SEP 4, 2021 Aromas of strong pumpkin gourd butternut squash crisp ale yeast crisp maltiness and brown sugar. Taste is incredible pumpkin crisp ale yeast butternut squash butterscotch sweet nougat melted caramel decadent malts subtle subtle vanilla brown sugar and biscotti. Overall, an absolutely exquisite pumpkin beer. The pumpkin is not overpowering either. It simply makes itself present amongst a perfectly balanced and crisp beer.

UPDATED: OCT 16, 2020 Snagged a couple bottles of this from Halftime. Im actually quite surprised I never rated this back in the days that Southern Tier distributed to the Pacific Northwest. The beer was memorable enough to where I took the first opportunity I saw to get some shipped out here. As a multi year veteran attendee of the Great Pumpkin beer festival, I have had lots of samples, amd I believe this is the best pumpkin beer out there. It is an obvious front runner in its respective style. Exceptionally made. Tons of flavors, none being too sweet or overpowering in any way. Nice mix of spices here, smooth pumpkin, honey like malt. Easy drinking imperial. Cinnamon linger. A treat of a beer to look forward to this time of year. Why don't you guys just start distributing out here again, so it wouldn't be so difficult to buy 8 bottles.

Bottle. More of a gold than an amber color. Medium head. Aroma is vanilla, pumpkin spice and a creamy hazelnut. Taste is vannilla, with a nutty flavor. Really like it.

22-oz bottle sent my way via trade with jah noth. Pours harvest orange with a small, fizzy, off-white head, somewhat diminishing with spare, if any, lacing. Somewhat disappointing on the lack of head or lace. Aroma is heavy malt (cookie, cereal, straw, biscuit), average hops (grass, herbs), average yeast (dough, leaves) with notes of pumpkin, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, and brown sugar. There is an interesting mix of lightly buttered biscuits and sugar cookies that permeates above all the typical "pumpkin beer" spices that is rather intriguing and inviting in a raw dough kind of way. The pumpkin is not too much nor too little yet is much more present than most pumpkin beers. Medium bodied, aided by the uncharacteristically high alcohol content, alcoholic texture, average carbonation that fizzles away rapidly, and a chalky yet dry finish. Long duration, moderate sweetness, acidity, and bitterness. I am quite taken by this pumpkin beer as it seems to nail the one thing others cannot - it gives the pumpkin flavor along with spices (typical) but also adds a freshly baked crust to the aroma and flavor.

UPDATED: OCT 3, 2020 Pint can. Cinnamon aroma with notes of nutmeg, allspice, clove, pumpkin and maybe a hint of caramel. Pours burnt orange colored with one finger of creamy tan head that has excellent retention and lacing. Starts with cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and pumpkin flavors as well as having a creamy mouthfeel. Finishes very smooth with allspice and a touch of caramel flavors. Definitely smoother on the palate than the original, but I prefer the original still.

UPDATED: SEP 27, 2020 Pours a golden color with a fizzy off-white head. The aroma is boozy with a strong pumpkin presence. Flavor notes of bourbon, molasses and spices. Does not carry many of the characteristics synonymous with nitro beers but it’s not bad.
