ricke49 (277) - La Pine, Oregon, USA - MAY 31, 2019UPDATED: MAY 31, 2019 Review from memory (several years ago) - frankly don’t remember a lot about the beer - except that it was really good - but the empty bottle still adorns my beer garden and it is the BEST painted-on bottle art (and outstanding text), that I’ve ever encountered - worth admiring on a monthly basis.

Decent Black IPA. The hop character leads the way, but is balanced nicely by roasty malt. A good blend of hoppy IPA aspects and roasty stout character. This seemed to be a bit of a flash in the pan style, but this is a solid example of how it should be done. (15/20
