UPDATED: DEC 10, 2021 500ml bottle. Slightly milky, dark yellow-ish, golden colour with small to average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Spicy, minimally bready malty and spicy hoppy aroma, hints of salami, bacon, mild mustard, unspecific fruity, grassy and herbal overtones, whiffs of protein. Taste is spicy and minimally bready malty, mildly bitter, herbal-grassy-spicy hoppy, subtle fruitiness, hints of salami, protein, unripe apple, clear apple juice, a touch of mild mustard, subtle residual sweetness. Oily texture, smooth and soft palate, fine and soft carbonation. Well crafted, superbly balanced, full of subtleties, extraordinarily drinkable - very good!

UPDATED: NOV 17, 2021 Tap at Indewildeman, Amsterdam, 17th November 2021. Pours an off clear. aroma is malty, earthy and caramel. Taste is clean and complex, earthy and a nice mellowness to it. Very good

UPDATED: MAY 2, 2021 Bottle 0.5l from rauchbierlover. Thanks Paolo. Had this one fresh as well few yeara ago directly at the source. Pour it dark clear amber color with medium white head. Bottle review. Aroma light roasted note, touch of smoked note, light sulfur note which is pretry annoying. Taste smooth light caramel, crisp, light smoked notes, loght bitterness finish. Really balanced flavor.

UPDATED: NOV 23, 2020 Gold with a frothy, white head. Aroma of Backhausbrot with a bit of bandaid. Taste is mildly bitter the whole way through with some understated notes of roasted bitterness & smoke taking over the finish. Medium bodied with mild carbonation. Interesting and quite drinkable.

UPDATED: JUN 4, 2021 War erst etwas überrascht, hab dann aber gesehen, dass hier gar kein Rauchmalz drin ist. Optisch aber glasklar, sollte das nicht trüb sein? In der Nase irgendwie Milchsäure, im Trunk Getreide, leicht bitter, völlig unspektakulär.

UPDATED: JUN 10, 2020 On tap at Hopdog Munich. What can you say? Creamy yellow amber, light haze, grainy Kellerbier nose. Perfect balance of cereal notes, mild acidity, and spicy traditional hop bitterness. Yeah!
