UPDATED: MAR 2, 2021 330ml bottle. Clear, dark, ruby colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige head. Grassy and minimally fruity, hoppy, minimally dusty yeasty and mellow malty, minimally nutty aroma, a touch of peanut and mandarine. Taste is mellow malty, minimally dry, toasty and dusty, slightly citrusy fruity, notes of mandarine, sweet orange, a touch of peanut. Creamy texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, soft, creamy carbonation. Light, soft, highly drinkable, quite some Ale character - good!

UPDATED: JUL 12, 2020 Ty monster magnet. Aroma and flavor are sweet, malty, grainy, dry, bit dusty. Finish is also sweet with some dry hoppiness and slight alcohol tingle. Overall: good.

UPDATED: MAR 8, 2020 Red brown colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have a lot of caramel malt sweetness. Plenty of earthy bitter hops too.

UPDATED: DEC 16, 2019 Tap at Rootz Winterbier Festival. Amber with thin white head. Sweet malts, hops and spices, chestnutty brown malt. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.

UPDATED: SEP 6, 2019 Bottled. The aroma has light caramel, bit hay, some cardboard. Bit hazy, amber coloured beer with an off-white head. The taste is light-moderate bitter, has caramel sweetness, grass. Not too good.

UPDATED: MAY 24, 2019 Brown body tan head. Aroma is malts slightly roasted malts biscuits bread. Taste is malts caramel grains. Aftertaste is nice bitter balanced by some malty sweetness.

UPDATED: NOV 21, 2018 330mml. Bottle tasted on the 21/11/2018 at Groningen (The Netherlands). Clear dark red colour with a medium white head. Aroma is caramel malts, toffee and yeast. Taste is intense caramel malts, toffee and some bread. Finish is slightly bitter. Medium carbonation and body. Next one please!

@ Deventer festival. Poors nice dark ruby red, with thick light brown lacing foam. Pleasant aroma and taste, a winner. (Deventer 201810)

33cl bottle. A clear dark amber beer with a mid-sized most good lasting beige head. Aroma of red malt, caramel, leaves. Taste of intense bitter resinous hops, caramel, red fruits, red malt, leaves. Long bitterness.
