COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A robust, all natural, refreshingly smooth, full-bodied Pilsner brewed in the Bavarian tradition. With its rich golden colour and decidedly bold taste this is a true Pilsner worthy of such a distinction.

Originally rated January 2006. Pours a pale golden colour with an average white head, fast dissipation, but decent lace. This one has some sort of very slim carbonation. The smell started off pilsner-like, but then became very close to their Link and Chain, with some floral notes, grain and caramel malts. Watery mouthfeel and flat finish. The taste has some mild apples mixed in with the malts, and corn shows up in the aftertaste. Not too close to a pilsner, but this is a free country. Good luck Bruce.

Can from Andy at his tasting. Pours a hazy light gold with a thin white head. Smells sweet, with a hot alcohol note. Touch of caramel. Finishes a little sweet.

Can: Yellow fizz topped by a fading white film. Dryish, yet adjunct ridden aroma- papery stale pale malts and rice dominate- fizzy thin body with a cheap macro malt staleness and virtually no bitterness. Bad, but I’ve had way worse pale lagers.

WILD! This can is probably two years old but its tough to care. Corn, chili pepper aroma, seaweed and cereal grains. Super light, watery, milky, gross flavor; cold and crispy it tastes like dinner, which is not a good thing. Kind of terrible.

[1632-20080825] 710mL can. Aroma of floral perfume that’s gone off? like rancid butter? or mouldy corn?? Clear, yellow body with a medium-lasting creamy white head and quick-rising centralized bubbles. Fruit juice and light lager beer mix flavour has some yeast and a sweet floral finish. Light-medium body. Fun to watch! but a very interesting disgusting beer.

710ml can. Thanks to Immy for this drain pour, I think. Pours yellow in color with full foamy white head. Aroma sweet, yeasty and malty. Taste sweet, sour and funky with dry and funky finish which will not go away.

Can 710 ML. Scarborough Construction Zone
Poured gold with medium carbonation, medium white fine foamy top.
Aroma sweet (pear juice with sugar) and mineral hop notes.
Thin bodied lager bended towards pale sweet malt .medium high carbonation. Lack of flavor suggests that rice could be in use. This beer is quiet shallow so even at 5 % dry alcohol over exposed. Pale discount lager. Like Steelback says. It is what it is.

~24 oz. tall-boy can, from the beer store in belle river. pale yellow as most lagers, with a sick aroma of Camo malt liquor (not good). body-less with nasty lace like cobwebs stuck on the side of the glass. disgusting film left in the mouth. plus the can looks like an energy drink.

710ml can from <a href=http://www.thebeerstore.ca/ target=blank>The Beer Store in Peterborough. Pale yellow in colour, lasting pillowy white head, minor lace. The aroma is crisp, sweet, grainy, some vegetables and cereal. The flavour has some creamed corn, corn syrup, grainy with some metal tossed in as well. Lightly bitter mouthfeel, light body, medium carbonation. Finishes quick with some sweetness. Not all that good.

Can (710ml of joy juice). Yay. Another Steelback rating. Poured hazy yellow with a thin sticky white head. Smells like corn syrup, plastic and something sour. Taste is very mild, pvc, dilute rice, corn - reminds me of a commercial version of my ol’ buddy larry’s homebrew - looks like it too. Mouthfeel is pond-watery, thin, flat and leaves a weird ditch-water aftertaste behind. Right "up" there with their other offerings ..
