UPDATED: APR 2, 2020 07-Nov-13 (12-oz bottle: Purchased at Trader Joe's in San Diego/Pacific Beach, CA)
While this beer may be a bit thin in body, its flavor is actually quite enjoyable. It's very malty with an obvious flavor of oatmeal, but it's also fairly roasty, only lightly sweet, and noticeably smoky and ashy in the finish. The nose offers aromas of toasted bread, dark chocolate, and ash, but is also quite earthy with even a hint of dried mushroom. The beer is medium-dark brown in color, somewhat hazy to cloudy, depending how far down the bottle the beer comes from, and the tan head settles quickly to a thin ring. As noted, the medium body seems to thin out in the finish, but it's not egregious. Carbonation is medium, and the mouthfeel is generally dry from the roast and slight ashiness. Overall, this isn't an amazing Oatmeal Stout, but for the price, it's hard to beat.

fallingleaves (69) - Colorado, USA - JUL 1, 2019
UPDATED: JUL 1, 2019 It starts off tasting okay but leaves a lingering aftertaste of syrup that makes the whole thing taste artificial. Definitely not worth it, even for the cheap price.

bb (14189) - Alamo, California, USA - JUN 1, 2019
UPDATED: JUN 1, 2019 Bottle. Blackish beer with a brown head. Chocolate and light roast aroma. Chocolate and coffee flavor with roast. Medium bodied. Chocolate and coffee linger with roast and light fruitiness.
