Fruity, spicy taste with peaches, orange peel, honey, clove, yeast, flowers, chamomille, grapes, white wine, coriander and a vinous finish with a gentle spicy bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and quite interesting, with lots of flavours and a slight acidity. Very nice.

Aromas and flavor were dark fruit, belgian yeast and candy sugar, fig, vanilla, cocoa, and flowers. Lots of sweet malts in the nose and flavor. Alright but preferred the 09 version.

Erzengel (13589) - Saarland & Düsseldorf, GERMANY - JUL 23, 2017Intense fruity thick rich nose. The beer starts sweetish and rich. Sourish hints, not too deep. Sessionable and a bit alcoholic. Fresh smooth, slightly sourish. The aftertaste is round and refreshing, dry honey, not too deep in body. The winey hints are there, but not too intense, the grain is in the foreground.

Aroma is sweet, Belgian yeast, notes of honey and muscat, floral notes. The flavor has a nice sugar/honey/muscat sweetness with a yeasty finish. Medium-full bodied, average carbonation. Pretty good for the series.
