UPDATED: SEP 15, 2021 Bottle from Bottle Jockey bought in January 2015 for $9.50 CAD, cellared for 6.5 years. Attack: big creamy bitter crisp Mids: piney resiny hop toffee malt, lvl4-sweetness, toasted candied orange Finish: lingering soften sharp bitter hop, orange vermouth citrusy malted exhale. Overall: big malt and big hop character, excellent balance. Malt character is on the toastier side but still counterbalanced well with texture and bitterness.

UPDATED: APR 17, 2020 Can. Weak aromas of wood and pineapple, fairly unimpressive. Medium bitter, medium sweet, light sour taste; some mint flavors in there, some fruits too. Overall pretty average.

UPDATED: APR 16, 2020 Heavily hopped. A bit milky with intense bitterness with some sweeter hints. Not as bright as regular IPA.

UPDATED: APR 5, 2020 Off white foamy full lasting head. Hazy orange colour. Aroma is hoppy with fruity (tangerine, citrus, papaya and mango) with light milky notes. Flavor is hoppy too with fruity (grapefruit, tangerine) and light resinous tones, ending in a bitter finish. Medium bodied.

UPDATED: FEB 18, 2020 Keg at American Flatbread, Burlington, VT on 30/03/2008. Had this on quite a few occasions and always loved it. Groin-grabbing bitterness that lingers so well and has just enough malt presence to balance it out. Expertly made.

UPDATED: AUG 29, 2019 Pours hazy amber with a huge white head. Aroma of tropical fruit notes and sweet malt. Taste has sharp hop bite on the tongue, pine and resin. Palate has sweet tropical notes overlaying the pine bite. Really good.

UPDATED: JUL 7, 2019 Au nez c’est frais, ça appelle les agrumes. Belle robe jaune orangée assez limpide (pour une DIPA), avec un col mousseux persistant. En bouche, l’amertume est forte et boisée, elle enrobe tout avec une longueur très juste. Les saveurs évoquent plutôt les fruits blancs, pêchés et litchis avec des arrières goût un brin résineux.
