From Aug 2007 I got this in a trade with Wasatch. Thanks, John! Pours from 12oz bottle a hazy medium gold with a small head of foam that during the session, shrunk to some spotting with some lacing. The smell is hoppy with notes of grapefruit and some grass. The taste is pretty big on the grass on the first sip with a good malt backbone that balances it out well. After a few more sips, the hops calm down a bit and there's more of the balanced flavour going on until the finish where it ends up slightly bitter with a short aftertaste. When I swish this APA in my mouth, the most dominant flavour is the malt that takes an earthy route. Pretty good APA in my book and I'd drink it again, no problem.

Clear copper with a thin white head. Aroma is grapefruit pith. The flavour as well is a grapefruit pith, sweet sugar syrup and a decent hint of bitterness.

Deep Golden color with an off-white head. Hoppy aromas, with pine, citrus, apricots and pale to toasted malt. Malt does seem to dominate the flavors with toasted and caramel malt. Light pine and citrus in the backdrop. Finish is light and finish has some toasted malt and mild piney hops. Heavier in feel. 7/12

Dark amber, clear pour with beige, slightly persistent foam. Caramel malt in the nose with floral hops. Medium body, slick texture and moderate fizz. The taste has richness, but the floral / citrus hops dominate giving it a slightly sour finish.

Hazy yellow color with a 2 finger head. Notes of grass, toast, pale malt, herbs, and light caramel. It could have been more bitter from the hops, I picked up a fair share of malt on each sip. Light to medium in body. Alright
