UPDATED: FEB 22, 2020 Aroma citrus, malts and a good hint of piney hops. The flavor is citrus, fruit, malts mild sweetness in the middle and then a pretty bitter hop finish.

UPDATED: JAN 6, 2020 Cloudy pale colour with a very rocky head. Aroma of orange, citrus and light tropical fruits. Quite sweet and bitter ending.

UPDATED: OCT 12, 2019 A golden color with a large white head. The aroma contains some citrus, caramel, and grassy notes. The flavor is rather bitter with some lemons and orange peel. There is a decent malt character to the beer also. Do you call this 'old school' now? No pineapple in sight. The finish is also rather bitter. Overall a pretty good IPA

UPDATED: OCT 2, 2019 Monday 30th Sep 2019; Shrewsbury Monthly Share in Chez Sophie. O bought this 12 fl oz can at the Great British Beer Festival to split with friends. Hazy orange body, decent white head. Piney and hoppy with citrus fruits playing along in the aroma and taste too. Semi-sweet orange flavours come to the fore as it warms a little.

UPDATED: OCT 1, 2019 355ml can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Sep 19. Thanks Jeremy for this Alabama tick. Pours cloudy orange, foamy off-white head. Aroma brings fruity orange. Light and soft on the palate, bright orange marmalade, pine, light tang. Fine.

UPDATED: AUG 27, 2019 Can. Canned July 2019; BB unstated; Drank Aug 2019 - Hazy amber gold. Good creamy white head. Tangy citrus fruits, grapefruit, orange, peel. Good hop bitterness, herbal and floral. Mildly spicy, peppery. Sweet malts, bready, caramel. Sweet-bitter citrus fruity herbal and floral. Bitter citrus finish. Liked this. Decent IPA. (2019-08)

UPDATED: AUG 9, 2019 Can from Great British Beer Festival. Bursting with piney hops, a little citrus and caramel sweetness. Nice beer.

UPDATED: JUL 28, 2019 Can at Kowaliga on Lake Martin. Amber with a frothy head. Aroma full of pine with honey undertones. Very bitter in taste. This is headache beer for me—a load of hops with no real malty base. No thanks.

UPDATED: APR 21, 2019 Monkeynaut has a thick, soapy, off-white head, a mostly opaque, bubbly, orange appearance, and moderate glass lacing. The aroma is of strong, bready malt and hop resins, with citrus peel. The flavor is similar, with a building bitterness. Mouthfeel is high-medium, and Monkeynaut finishes mostly dry. RJT
