stantheman (2015) - British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 8, 2022UPDATED: JAN 8, 2022 A tall can from Bottle Jockey in Burnaby.
Hazy yellow concoction, bit of white head, faint citrus nose, bitter citrus palate. Good stuff.
kevinsenn (3112) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 28, 2021UPDATED: DEC 28, 2021 Can from Cascadia, View Royal. Aroma of pine and some citrus zest... seems a little off, like it might be old. Taste is good though, tropical fruit, pine, green grapes. Decent bitter finish. Solid.
fiulijn (27110) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 30, 2021Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Murky blond colour. Fruity aroma, pungent, citrus, some tropical, light weed. There's some good malt element, but also a bit more chalk that I care for; the hopping is definitively bold, there is plenty of hop quality (resinous, piney, citrusy, zesty, white grapes…), but also too strong pith in the finish; without the pithy bitterness, this would be wonderful.
It's rough, but enjoyable and interesting.
mcberko (34280) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 22, 2021UPDATED: OCT 22, 2021 473mL can, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a medium white head. Aroma brings out lots of the Nelson Sauvin hops, with lots of white wine tanginess, some citrus hops, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is full of tangy hops, citrus notes, and crisp biscuity malt. Tangy, white wine grape-like, and not too chalky despite the haziness. Really love the Nelson. Very good.
