COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our take on a California Common, a unique North American style with a rich history dating back to the Gold Rush era, this beer is based on our award-winning recipe. It has a moderate malt presence, intertwined with balanced notes of toast and caramel, finished with hints of rustic wood and mint on the nose. It has a beautiful copper colour that finishes as crisp as an autumn morning. So when your server or bartender asks what you’d like to drink, point at the menu and say, “I’ll have This One.” You’ll be glad you did.

UPDATED: JUN 1, 2019 Neutral aroma, which hinders the total rating, I do this this is a good average Cali common. Full some taste.

daniel0017 (489) - Yukon, CANADA - MAR 2, 2019
UPDATED: MAR 2, 2019 It is a copper hue smelling like a vegetable in the sun with a metal can on the side, rusting. Taste like a forlorn bog with wayward daffodils wilting away in the shade but it is not stay. The mouth left it with feelings of woe.

jercraigs (13679) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 2, 2018
UPDATED: DEC 2, 2018 2018-11-29. Lightly hazy orange-amber body with a giant foamy beige head. 3+ Aroma of malt, light fruit, caramel. Lightly musty overtones. Flavour is lightly sweet throughout, malt forward, light citrus character has a slight marmalade quality to it. Average plus bodied palate, a touch over carbonated. Okay, it grows on me a bit as it goes. 7/3-4/7/3/14-15 Can from LCBO, Ottawa.

HippyHop (1187) - Quebec, CANADA - NOV 26, 2018
UPDATED: NOV 26, 2018 473ml can. Cloudy iced tea pour. Caramel and toasted grain and more mineral water then I would like. Taste follows. I'm not sure it's as crisp 'as an autumn day' as described but it's pretty crisp. Overall it's aight.

bunget (1251) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 12, 2018
Can. Clear copper body, big mocha head with good retention and lots of lacing. Aroma of caramel, bitter herbs, peppercorn, dusty leaves and fudge. Taste of biscuits, caramel, rye toast, some herbs and woodsy notes. A tad flat, but otherwise decent.

sseb69 (2238) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 5, 2018
Cannette. Couleur ambrée, mousse blanche-beige pâle. Arôme de grains, pain grillé. En bouche, malt grillé léger, finale assez sèche. Bonne.

Eructoblaster (6993) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 12, 2017
Can - 473ml. Hazy chestnut brown body with an average, lasting, off-white foamy head. Decent malty/hoppy aroma with grainy hints. Its good malty/hoppy taste carries grainy and woody notes. Ends with a dry, bitter/grainy finish. Not bad.
