UPDATED: DEC 7, 2021 From the Bottle at Mes & Sim's wedding reception 18/06/2011 Roast and hop aromas. Black strong in alcohol and rich on the palate with a hint of dryness and bitterness in a chocolate roast finish.

UPDATED: APR 10, 2021 Opaque black with a small tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Dark chocolate, bourbon, wood, roasted malts, char, huge booze finish.

Bottle@1420 (Black Damnation tasting) Copenhagen - Black pour with a tan head. Roasted and sweet dark malty with rich opulent chocolate, treacle, ashy dark malty, big full body and oily mouthfeel, robust bourbon infused dark malty boozy warming close.

Bottle shared by Adamchandler. Big roasted malt backbone. The booze is here but not punch you in the face for the first 3 ounces. As it warms and opens up this certainly does punch you in the mouth. I like it for what it is.... a strong bold beer. Really can't drink more than 5 ounces of it.

Bottle 750 ml at Arrogant tasting, courtesy of Italian friends. Black with tan head. Oily and dense. Bit boozy in aroma. Roasted malts, chocolate, bourbon, dark fruit. Quite warming, but not alcoholic as one would expect. Full bodied. Huge beer.

@ New Years Drink Billie's Beer Kafetaria. Well, never drank an 26ABV Imperial Stout that was so drinkable and enjoyable. Pitch-black Coffee aroma and taste. Nice bourbon in the back. Coffee Grind. Slick and thick mouthfeel. Intense aftertaste.

Smells of chocolate and vanilla. Though it was opened for a few hours and breathing may have changed that.Thick and oily,great body. V boozy

Dobre piwo, ale zbyt alkoholowe, po ogrzaniu było czuć coś więcej, ale trochę mało jak na taki kaliber.

Uff. Potwornie intensywne. Melasa, ciemne owoce, kawa, czekolada 98% kakao. Potwornie gęste i oleiste, przepiękna tekstura. Niestety - również i bardzo intensywny, piekący w nos, język i gardło alkohol. Doceniam kunszt, ale alkoholu jak dla mnie zdecydowanie zbyt dużo.
