UPDATED: JAN 2, 2022 Vészjósló, kólaszínű test, amely a magas alkoholtartalommal főzetek sajátja, a Black Damnation-sorozat pedig nem a lanyha vérmérsékletű darabokról híres. Ez a típus is az újragyártott palackok közül való, ilyen formában pipálhatják ki a hozzám hasonlók azokat a verziókat, amelyek annak idején elérhetetlennek bizonyultak. Likőrös, alkoholos aromákkal indít, a fás, fűszeres, gyógynövényes jegyek is rendre felfedezhetőek benne, míg kortyai nagyfokú simaságot, az előjelekhez képest meglepően könnyed szerkezetet hordoznak. Csokoládés, kávés alapok, égetett szeszek emlékének vibrálása, whisky-s, aromás fahordós hangulatok megáradása, a meglehetősen komoly súly észrevétlenné tétele, egyszerre játékos hangvétel és ördögi karakterisztika érvényesülése jellemzi. Igazán egyedi főzet, a Black Damnation-család méltóságteljes tagja.

UPDATED: DEC 6, 2021 Bottled 330ml. -from Ambasada Zagreb. Pitch black coloured, medium sized brown head, chocolate and whisky in the nose. Roasted malt, dark chocolate, dried fruits and notes of whisky. Light spicy and nutty touch. Warming finish.

UPDATED: NOV 29, 2021 Stevige alcoholische whiskey/bourbon barrel die volgens mijn etiket toch echt op whiskey vaten is gerijpt. Proef licht kruidig/gedroogd fruit met chocolade/koffie eikenhoutenplanken met whiskey en hint van vanille. Licht zurig gerust acid en met een mooie bitter. Redelijk droog en hoge complexiteit oftwel fijne afstelling van smaak ondanks het hoog in de alcohol zit. Maar het mooiste is bij elke slok krijg je een warmer gevoel. :-) Redelijk gedroogd fruit kruidig licht alcoholische geur. Donker bruine kleur van redelijke olieachtige structuur. UPDATED: NOV 26, 2021 Bottle, 330 ml shared with Max and Miro B at my 10k tasting. Black with small beige head. Roasty, chocolate, sweet, wood. Warming. Bit hot. Full bodied.

UPDATED: NOV 22, 2021 0.33 l bottle from 'Ace Drinks', 2018 vintage, bottled in April 2021. Pitch black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty, minimally fruity aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, hazelnut and fruity whisky. Rather sweet, malty, gently roasty and a little fruity taste of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice, hazelnut, whisky and a touch of vanilla, followed by a short, gently roasty-bitter, slightly earthy and a bit boozy finish. Medium to full body, smooth, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Moreish, saturating RIS, intense but still well-balanced, definitely one of my favourites from the recent Black Damnation releases.

UPDATED: NOV 18, 2021 Botella de 33 cl. Vintage 2018. Fecha de embotellado 14/04/2021. Color marrón muy oscuro casi negro con carbonatación suave y escasa espuma. Aroma a uvas pasas, ciruelas, cacao, madera, whisky. Sabor a cacao, uvas pasas, ciruelas, toffe, higos, whisky. Cuerpo medio alto, cálida, alcohol notorio, bastante dulce, la barrica está presente pero comedida, muy rica.

UPDATED: OCT 14, 2021 375ml bottle (thanks Juks). Black color. Roast, cocoa, chocolate, alcohol, woody, Belgian yeast, bitter in aroma/taste.

UPDATED: OCT 12, 2021 Bottle 33 cl, poured into a Jopen tasting glass. Pours a pitch black with a tiny tan head and an aroma of sugar, syrup, toffee, figs, plums, raisins, coca and moccha. The taste is heavy sweet with a big body, soft carbonation and a long lasting both sweet and bitter finish

UPDATED: OCT 9, 2021 Bottle 330 ml. Dark brown colour, coffee foam. Aroma: sweet, esters, good Balvenie whisky, caramel, dried fruit, figs, raisins, a little sweets. Very soft taste, good whisky, caramel, sweetness, cherry, caramel, warm and delicious.
