UPDATED: SEP 19, 2021 Une réserve spéciale pour célébrer dignement le décès de Julos … Une bière qui a passé 3 ans en porto, puis pas mal d'années en cave. On est ainsi sur les mêmes bases que les chansons de Julos qui sont des épreuves immémorielles et des poésies issues de l'âme. CONCLUSION : merci Julos pour toutes tes années de dévouement à la cause de la chanson et de la poésie. Gloire à toi. NB Tu noteras Julos que j'ai pointé 9 – 9 – 19 dans ma cote .. et que nous sommes le 19 du 9 … Merci à toi De plus je suis à mon rating (et non pas building ou parking) numéro 5099. NB 2 Par ailleurs Julos, la bière est cotée 99/99 .. signe d'un monde neuf !

UPDATED: JUN 22, 2021 A 750ml bottle, 2011 vintage, cask strength limited edition, bottled on 15th November 2016. Poured into a De Struise tulip glass. Dark brown in colour with a very thin beige head that disappeared almost immediately, while leaving only sparse to no lacing. Aromas of dark fruit, plum, prune, raisin, dates, port, oak, strawberry, chocolate. Tastes of light sweetness, dark fruit, plum, prune, raisin, port, mixed berries, slight booze, with notes of caramel and chocolate on the backend. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Overall it’s not the first time that De Struise has mentioned ‘medium carbonation’ when in actuality it is either soft or really close to no carbonation. In this case, while I would prefer more carbonation, the soft carbonation is not so bad. It’s a good sipper with lots of good port notes.

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2021 Bottle from a friend. Brown color, white head. Bitter taste with berries, port, oak, chocolate, yeast and dark fruits. Bitter finish with berries, oak, port, yeast, chocolate and dark fruits. Slightly gone bad at this point, but okay / drinkable.

UPDATED: FEB 5, 2021 Bottle from The Situation, served at home in a snifter glass. Brwon reddish colour, medium off white head with short retention, no lacing. Aroma is winey,chocolate, dates, raisins, strawberries, some nuts. Medium to full body, sticky texture, flat carbonation. Sour finish. Taste of wine, chocolate, cinnamon, muscatel, raisins. Very good.

UPDATED: SEP 6, 2020 2012 bottle at Shelton Festival. Pours a dark brown with small beige head. The aroma is dark fruit, port, toffee, wood. Slick body, cocoa, raisin, caramel, boozy finish, very nice.

UPDATED: MAR 12, 2019 2011' kran urodzinowy Mikkeller Warsaw. Kandyzowane owoce, wiadomix, już bez piany, mega słodkie, szanuję kondycję piwa po latach.

Une bière brune, dense, fine mousse. Le nez allie des notes de chocolat, de malt torréfié sur un fond de fûts, des cerises mûres et des figues, très complexe. Bouche à l'attaque ample et puissante, de la richesse mais en même temps de la finesse, de l'élégance malgré la puissance, une bulle onctueuse et une longue finale riche et puissante. Grand bière de fin de soirée.

Bottle shared at home. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Lots of port, quite sweet, candy-like fruits, raisins, creamy chocolate, vanilla, dates. Very smooth, age has been kind to this one.

Bottle shared at and with Svartvit. Slight hazy dark brown with no head. Milk chocolate, prunes, lots of port, soft booze, red wine, oak, raw cocoa, soft dried berries and vanilla. Over medium sweet, light sour and bitter. Almost full bodied with no carbonation.
