ANZUShophunter (2343) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - DEC 8, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 8, 2021 Bottle from Beer Cartel (BB May'23) in dimpled mug. Pours dark brown w/crimson edges, an inch of tan head. Choc malt dominates aroma & taste, nobel hops tempering brown sugar sweetness. Uber-tasty

hawthorne00 (6630) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - OCT 2, 2021
UPDATED: OCT 2, 2021 Bottle. Deep brown with a beige head. 3+ Aroma of chocolate, bread, spices. Some roast, hints of stewed fruit. Sweet with dark sugars, some roast & chocolate, decent spicy bitterness. Not a lot behind the sweetness really. But pleasant enough. No obvious alcohol.

UPDATED: JUN 18, 2021 Huge thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass dark brown, nice head. Intense malty aroma. Starts fine malty, roasty, sweetish. Some woody notes as well. Some hints of some special herbs. Sweetish malty finish, well balanced. Nice!

muenzo (137) - Cologne, GERMANY - FEB 2, 2021
UPDATED: FEB 2, 2021 great news a cologne based brewery tries to do bock, in fact there are not many that do this in this commitment. They are known for their craft like fruity kolsch (sunner kölsch). This dark bock is a well done mix of five malts and three hop sorts. In The end there is a little bit of acidy in the palate followed by bitter notes at the side of the tongue, first one does not appear so great to me. But overall a delicious one, i could imagine to indulge it sometimes in frosty and rainy winter months. In fact the water used in the city district óf cologne is mainly hardened in pH and Ca+, not comparable with the water in the eastern hills of cologne or black forest for example. But maybe this is the thing that got i thru.

Grzesiek79 (6445) - Radom, POLAND - APR 4, 2020
UPDATED: APR 18, 2020 W kufelku jest sporo piany, srednio trwala, ladna barwa i odcien byczej krwi. W aromacie ziarna kawy i blod czekoladowy.

simontomlinson (4357) - Lancashire, ENGLAND - JAN 3, 2020
UPDATED: JAN 3, 2020 Rocky tan head left a creamy cover on a thick black still body. Heavy malt, dark spirits & brown sugar aroma. Full bodied, thick, creamy & smooth over the tongue with lively clean back. Malt, demerara, nutty, roasted, lactose, syrup, dark spirits & dark berry tastes with sweet fruity finish. Top Drawer!

corkyrory66 (5311) - BELGIUM - OCT 6, 2019
Hircus, altus, kolnus .. (refrain connu …)

Piepenhenrich (2821) - Steinbach, GERMANY - AUG 7, 2019
UPDATED: AUG 7, 2019 Opaque dark brown, almost black with a beige head. Sweet malty aroma. Taste is malty, mildly sweet with a very subtle boozyness. Very good Bock, albeit being a bit sweet overall.

WillemsUrenkel (3872) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - JUN 30, 2019
UPDATED: JUN 30, 2019 0,33 l bottle from Getränkefeinkost, Münster. A dark red brown in the glass, more than one finger beige head. Smells malty with some sweetness. Taste starts also malty, little bit sticky sweetness. Alcoholic in the background with fruity elements. Not bad.
