UPDATED: NOV 28, 2021 Bottle. A- Grapes, peanuts. A- Purple color, dark liquid, no head. T- Grape jelly, blackberries, mild sweetness. P- Medium body, average texture, flat carbonation, balanced finish. O- Get plenty of berries, I get blackberry and grape as opposed to blueberry but a good flavor. The peanut butter comes across on the nose but not the palate. This was good, but as my first dive into Superstition and their hype, I would say there are many other grade meaderys that top this for a fraction of the price. All in all good but not world class.

brokensail (18691) - Bay Area, California, USA - AUG 3, 2021
UPDATED: AUG 3, 2021 RBSG 2017. Pours dark reddish purple with good clarity. Sweet berry jam/jelly, caramel, and grape. Definitely some peanut butter character, but kind of dusty/powdery, if that makes sense. Quite sweet. Good body. No real honey character, but I guess maybe that's the point?

Drake (18900) - Appleton, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 18, 2020
UPDATED: JAN 18, 2020 Keg at Barley Pop, 1.18.20. Clear red. Aroma of muts, jammy cherry, pepper, honey. Taste is honey, grape jam, honey, nuts, vanilla, pepper. Medium bodied, hints of booze. Decent. But if all their meads are this quality they are way overrated.

UPDATED: NOV 28, 2019 Bottle from Tavour. Deep crimson pour with minimal head. Aroma is blueberry jam and peanut butter and sweet honey. Flavor is very sweet, PB&J and honey. Quite syrupy, full feel wIthout carbonation. Good if you can handle the increased 'beetus risk.

mcberko (34280) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 10, 2019
UPDATED: AUG 10, 2019 Bottle pour at Mikkeller Taipei, pours a dark mahogany, no head. Aroma brings put rather subtle peanuts, with gentle blueberry and blossom honey. Flavour isn’t really selling me on the peanut butter jelly, but it is selling me on being a great blueberry mead. Decadent and well-rounded. Whatever it is, it’s lovely.

jbruner (8524) - Lakewood, California, USA - JUN 12, 2019
UPDATED: JUN 12, 2019 Pours a deep purple color from the bottle with tiny ring of pink bubbles that dissipate quickly to leave minimal lace. Aroma is straight peanut butter and jelly, fairly impressive actually. Taste follows, sweet with no crusts on your white bread. For tasting what it's supposed to taste like, I give them an A+, but this is a novelty at best and I couldn't drink more than an ounce or two because its so sweet and syrupy.
