COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We add another layer, take a breath, and keep moving forward. Stacking a classic Surly dry-hopped Bill atop a hazy german-style ale, layer up delivers bold, fruit-forward flavors.
UPDATED: APR 5, 2019 12oz can. German style ale huh....any it is wheaty...and tastes like banana-clove...so I think we could call this a Hefeweizen. Unattractive floaties inside a thick orange body. Frothy, soapy head. I don;t get much of the dry-hopping, maybe adding some undesirable dryness. Yeast still dominates. Sort of a let own, a miss.
UPDATED: JAN 23, 2019 Aroma is fruit/orange/citrus and a hint of banana. The flavor is fruit, bananas, a hint of tobacco winter chew and a slightly tart/sweet finish.
UPDATED: JAN 15, 2019 The Aromas are crackers, pale malt and a bit of fruit. Maybe they're trying to cash in on the hazy IPA thing but this beer has very little in common with that other than the hazy appearance. Otherwise it's just a straightforward mild Brew.
