Scopey (21884) - Oldmeldrum, SCOTLAND - FEB 4, 2016Cask at Guildford Arms. It pours clear amber with a decent white head. The nose is toasty grain, cereal, honey, golden syrup and soapy citrus. The taste is bitter - sweet, honeyed cereal, candied grain, jammy fruits, sweet porridge, Heather honey and a touch of soapy citrus with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Sweeter and maltier than I had hoped for, but overall it’s drinkable enough.
