COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An obscure malt-forward beer style from Düsseldorf, Altbier (alt means “old”) shares lineage with its cousin the Kölsch in that it is fermented warm with ale yeast before being conditioned cold like a lager. Our Altbier uses 100% Bavarian ingredients, is unfined/unfiltered, naturally carbonated, and lagered for eight weeks.
UPDATED: JAN 3, 2022 473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy red-copper with a small, creamy, long lasting, beige head that laces. Mild, sweet aroma of bready caramel malt and herbal hops.
