retinadoc (366) - - OCT 20, 2021
UPDATED: OCT 20, 2021 Draft. Medium amber color. Strong, bitter hoppy aroma and flavor. A bit of bite to the bitter hops, with an appropriately bitter finish, but smooths out with food.

UPDATED: AUG 25, 2021 12oz can, best before 11/20/21, drunk 8/19/21.
Lightly hazy, bright, lemon yellow with a small, white head showing moderately-low retention.
Fruity and playful in the nose with apple, peach, pear and stronger citrus finally arriving at light pine. Malts are apparent, giving honey and bread-like notes to balance. Not anything remarkable overall, but a fine, playful nose that is free from flaw.
Very fruity and with more texture than actual malt character/flavor. Red and yellow fruits play well with citrus and it ends lightly-to-moderately bitter with fairly engaging carbonation, no alcohol or hop twang. Pretty forgettable, but also perfectly fine.

tightslice (2689) - Austin, Texas, USA - AUG 11, 2021
UPDATED: AUG 11, 2021 BOGO 6-pack from Publix in Orlando, FL. Aroma is wet wood, caramel, earthy malts, dank moss. Taste is malty, earthy pine resin, mild salt, wet forest. This reminded me of Lagunitas, which I like for their malt-forward IPAs. Def could have used some extra fresh pine or grapefruit on the finish but it was nostalgic all same. A go-to East Coast / Southern IPA.

UPDATED: JUL 22, 2021 Not a bad beer. Hops were not overwhelming but lacked the flavor and body of a strong IPA.

UPDATED: JUL 11, 2021 Rich gold color, very effervescent, surprisingly smooth for such a high alcohol/high IBU beer… excellent with sushi! (Not as a starter)

lukedarock (352) - Howell, Michigan, USA - APR 4, 2021
UPDATED: APR 4, 2021 Underwhelming is the word I'm looking for, hops are there but not the star. Caramel like flavor and scent that I just can't really like. Beginning to notice that similar flavor in all of Terrapin beers.

patrick767 (5705) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - MAR 11, 2021
UPDATED: MAR 11, 2021 Clear copper pour. This is a straightforward, hop heavy IPA. Aroma is citrus and resinous hops. The flavor is similar with a big dose of hops backed by caramel malt. Medium bodied. Quite good.
