UPDATED: NOV 1, 2019 . Crushing. Lots and lots of bitterness and juicy resiny piney hops character. In your face, intense, well attenuated, carbonated too. Easy drinking, booze hidden. Great beer!

PowY (3777) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - AUG 2, 2019
UPDATED: AUG 2, 2019 473 ml can at Korner, Zürich. Pours a hazy dark golden with a white head and some floating particles. The aroma is medium hoppy, piney and light dank with notes of grapefruit, lightly zesty and some bready malt. Medium body with a light to medium sweetness and a medium-heavy bitterness. The bitterness is pretty dominant but the beer is still pretty well balanced. The flavor starts with sweetish, resinous and piney notes, grapefruit, some orange, a light herbal dankness and bready and biscuity malt. Finishes with a good bitter hoppy kick and resinous. Nice hop forward brew with quiet some bitterness yet balanced and good to drink. Aroma: 8 Appearance: 4 Taste: 8 Palate: 4 Overall: 16

UPDATED: JUL 5, 2019 Aroma is similar to Heady Topper, lots of resin and some pineapple, pours a hazy pale gold color with a thick white head with nice lacing. Taste is not as strong as the aroma, lots of resin and chalky mineral with a hint of pineapple, a dry mouth feel with a chalky mineral finish.
