UPDATED: JAN 1, 2022 Quart can form Corks and kegs in Richmond, VA This was a Christmas present from my son. The stout poured a dark prune juice color with a small tan head that disappeared. There was no lacing. The aroma of licorice and roasted malts greets you. The taste has more licorice, coffee, and roasted malts. The high ABV is very evident. (19.4% ABV). The highest ABV I ever have for a stout. This is definitely a sipping stout. It is fitting this is enjoyed on the last day of the year while Georgia is beating Michigan.

You also got more pungent spices, soy sauce and savory characters, as well as tart aftertaste, which is not so enjoyable for me. Decent BBA stout, for those who pursuing strength and complexity. 和BCBS比起来,这酒的酒精灼热感稍强一些,酒体却更单薄一点。风味上呈现更多 2019 Appearance: Pours opaque black with quickly diminished tan head, no lacing. 外观:黑色,浑浊。米色泡沫,无挂杯。 4/5 Aroma: Toasted malt, preserved plum, caramel, salted almonds, dark chocolate, five spices and cinnamon, with distinct hints of soy sauce. 气味:烘烤麦芽、话梅、焦糖、盐渍杏仁、黑巧克力、五香粉和肉桂,伴随着明显的酱油味。 9 Toasty malt, coffee, chocolate and nuts with spices and bourbon oak. Braudog (8154) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - JAN 18, 2021
UPDATED: JAN 18, 2021 Big bottle. All the visuals and aromatics you'd expect ... deep, dark and brooding, oozing booze. As advertised, EXTREMELY rich, thick with vanilla, dark fruits and cooked caramel. One of the most accurate commercial descriptions I've read. This one is DEFINITELY not for the weak hearted. 20%!? You'd never know. Damn near perfection, but only for the 'stout' folks. Ha. (#7898, 1/2021)

A lot of aroma, a lot of sweetness, dark fruits, chocolate, nice after taste! Too many words, but are not enough... So I decide to take my words back... so... NO WORDS!
