COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Duck-Rabbit’s Imperial Stout is extremely big and robust. This special beer is thick, jet black and oily in texture. Complex flavors of roast malts dominate: bitter chocolate and espresso coffee especially. There is also a very big hop presence both for bittering and for aroma. At 10% alcohol by volume, this brew is made to be sipped and savored!

UPDATED: MAY 31, 2019 5/30/19 With A watching Dodgeball, grilling steaks & writing songs about moonshine! Nose is tons of roasty malt & chocolate. Unexpected lack of coffee for the style. Tayse is surprisingly bright and very chocolatey with roasted flavors coming through on the finish. Palate is heavy medium with some bright malty notes. Overall, solid stout & super drinkable for a big stout!

foyle (664) - North Carolina, USA - DEC 22, 2018
UPDATED: DEC 22, 2018 Poured from 12 oz bottle into tulip glass. Color is dark brown/black. Thin tan head, no lacing. Alcohol is present on the nose along with rich roasted malt and hops. Mouthfeel is thick and viscous with a somewhat damp finish. Flavors of dark roasted malt, a bit of char, molasses, a hint of licorice, with a nice hop balance. Overall: a nice sipper on a cold night, but the alcohol presence is quite noticeable.
