ComradeK (1837) - North-Western Ontario, Ontario, CANADA - APR 21, 2017Draught at the brewery. Pours an opaque black, with a small tan head, which lasts reasonably well and leaves good lacing. The aroma offers black coffee, chocolate and toasty malt notes. Very mild citrus hops give way to roasty malt and coffee in the mid-palate, with a dry finish, offering dark chocolate notes. Not the most complex oatmeal stout, but a satisfying beer nonetheless.
