DraftDodger (5615) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 9, 2022
UPDATED: JAN 9, 2022 Copenhagen 9/1 2022. 33 cl bottle from Mikkeller & Friends Bottle Shop. Rough brown paper label with just the name of the beer and brewery. Pours unclear dark maroon with a red hue and a big off-white head. Stable. Settles as 2 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing. Aroma is medium intense with a toasted and sweet scent with a sugary touch. Toasted dark malts, caramel and toffee. Brown sugar and hazelnut. Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, smooth, creamy, almost flat texture. Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Smooth and silky and a bit to the sweet side.

josanguapo (4767) - SPAIN - SEP 11, 2021
UPDATED: SEP 11, 2021 De 32gp. En copa Teku. Estudiando. Correcta pero tampoco para tirar cohetes, con un perfil Brown que no llega a decir mucho, la verdad, y está algo sobrecarbonatada. De Kernel uno espera más, un plus que aquí no hay

Gerbeer (5947) - Nanoose Bay, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 15, 2021
UPDATED: AUG 15, 2021 On tap. Pours a dark brown with full head. Aromas of toasted malts, dry raisins, and a bit of copper. Flavors follow same with with less copper. Nutty finish. Easy drinker

biilz (1529) - SPAIN - MAY 1, 2021

weirdbeered (312) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 10, 2021
UPDATED: APR 10, 2021 Dark mahogany brown with a creamy beige head. Faint aroma, dried fruit, roasted malt. Smooth to taste, with subtle flavours of chocolate and coffee, slightly smoky. Nice flavour. Like a stout, but not so heavy.

nathanvc (4147) - Gent, BELGIUM - MAR 15, 2021
UPDATED: MAR 15, 2021 Bottle from Geers. Hazy dark brown, stable, foamy, tan head. Aroma of toast, roasted chestnut, burnt caramel, dried tea leaves, fig, tobacco, dried orange peel. Taste has sweetish fig & plum over a dry, peanutty, hard-caramel-like malt body, bit toasty bitter & herbal. Earthy hoppy finish, dried orange peel returning aromatically, bit piney, nutty. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Rather classic but with elegant, subtle hoppiness.

jasonbenali (397) - Kent, ENGLAND - FEB 7, 2021
UPDATED: FEB 7, 2021 Pours brown with fluffy white head and good lacing. Aroma is hazelnut, chestnut, ash, marmalade and coffee. Taste is sweet with a light bitter finish. Not a fan of brown ale although I’m sure it’s a good one.
