Beese (12774) - Tooting, London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 2, 2022
UPDATED: JAN 2, 2022 330ml bottle from 7000 Jars of Beer, Kingston. Pitch black with a dense brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, bitter chocolate, hints of coconut from the Sabro and fennel. Fairly thick. Very smooth - the carbonation is right on point. Roasty and big building bitterness, with the hoppy lingers mixing in quite nicely.

jamestulloch (7262) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 18, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 18, 2021 Bottle from Cornelius. Black body with a thick beige head. Thick lacing. Aroma of blueberry and pine. Flavour of cherry, grapefruit and dark chocolate. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. These India Double Porters from the Kernel are just superb. For me, it’s the style the brew best. I’d love to see the Kernel regularly brew some Double IPAs.

Borresteijn (10025) - Heerhugowaard, NETHERLANDS - DEC 6, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 6, 2021 33cl Fles, veel dank Harmen! Zwarte kleur, fijne beige kraag. Medium body.

UPDATED: DEC 4, 2021 330ml bottle Sophie's Beer Store. Pours black, with good tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, light hop touch though no coconut. Taste is smooth with edgy roasted malts, subtle pine nuances, citrus in the shadows with a mild sabro influence. Nice bitterness. Decent as always.
