Bottle @ Blekingeleden w friends/Boilermaker. Appearance: pours clear brown with good off-white soapy head and lacing. aroma/taste: bread, caramel, light nuts, light chocolate, light earthy/leaves notes and light alcohol. palette: medium somewhat roasted malty aroma, average carbonation, medium body, average sweetness, balanced by a medium bitterness, average duration and a watery texture. Overall: well balanced brown ale

0,5 flaske fra Meny Borups alle, på hytta: klar, brunrød mahogny med med fint offwhite skum som varer. Deilig aroma av nøtter, melkesjokolade og urter. Mørk, god smak med sjokolade med nøtter (som i Freia Firkløver), mørke karameller og røde bær. Så avgjort en av de bedre brown ales jeg har smakt. Fin munnfylde og myk balanse i ettersmaken. Passet fint til den mørke filmen The Good Shepherd.

Flaska. Mörkbrun med ett smutsvitt skum. Dofter av karamell, nöt och mjölkchoklad. Smakinslag av choklad, nöt, malt, röda bär och karamell. Nötig avslutning. Medel mot liten beska.

Botella. Deep dark brown colour, nice big off-white head, well lasting. Sweet pleasant dark malty aroma with some chocolate to it. Pleasant flavour, sweet, dark malty/ soft roasty malty, chocolate, some dark fruits. Nice!

KØLF 141016. Brown color with a beige head. Aroma is butter scotch, malt, caramel. Flavor is butterscotch, malt, caramel, hop, alcohol, yeast. Medium body. Ordinary beer.

50 cl. bottle, shared. Clear, amber colour with a thin, white head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, fruits and nuts. Taste is sweet. Medium to full body with an oily texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes slightly dry with caramel malts and toasted notes. Less alcohol would have done wonders. Plain.

Röstiger Geruch. Trocken röstig-getreidiger Beginn, kurzzeitig süßlich, erdig, minimal Schokolade. Sehr trocken bleibend, steigend herb. Nichts Besonderes. 8/7/8/7/7/8

50cl bottle from a trade with Rasmus40! Pours clear reddish brown colour with a mid-sized most good lasting beige head. Aroma of dark malt, red fruits, some sweet chocolate. Taste of strong dark malt, some chocolate, caramel, nuts.

pours clear orange brown with beige lacing. very sugary and metallic notes on aroma. thin body, tannic, extremely swete, not very pleasant.
