Centurion IPA has been brewed to commemorate Joe Root’s 100th test match for England, in which he scored a double century on the way to a famous victory in India. All profits from the sale of this beer will be donated to the Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity, of which Joe Root is the patron. Expect ripe hedgerow fruit on the nose and a full bodied, honeyed malt character on the palate

Good hop bitterness, grassy. Berry fruits. Spicy. Sweet-bitter bready caramel malty grassy hoppy berry fruity. Very drinkable. Liked this. Good. (2021-11)

UPDATED: OCT 6, 2021 Bottle picked up from Thornbridge Tap, Bakewell Derbyshire and consumed at mum and Keiths, Kempsey, Worcestershire Wednesday 6th October 2021. Pours copper in colour with a white head. A little toffee and caramel, nice English hop bitterness, fruity, streaky a little rustic and bramble edge. This is nice.

UPDATED: MAY 2, 2021 330ml bottle from Thornbridge Beer Club - Clear amber body, white top. Nose is bready, yeasty, malt. Lots of caramel and malt on the taste, nice balanced bitterness on the way out.

Small white head, decent lacing. Clear amber body. Gentle fruit nose, apples and berries. Flavour is malt, bread, a little spice, gooseberry. Good bitterness on the aftertaste. Medium carbonation, sharp fizz, good mouthfeel. Good traditional English style IPA.

UPDATED: APR 10, 2021 Bottle from thornbridge. Good looking beer with nice head. Grassy, a little earthy, some melon, nice malt/caramel. Definitely an English ipa but really good.
