Nose is red apple skin heavy, sweet cider, sugar, lots of acetaldehyde or oxidation. Taste thinner, black pepper, sweet red apple. Hmmm. Palate is very thin for style. Lots of red apple skins, mealy. Balazs (787) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - APR 20, 2010PreZBF - black, with a brown head that diminished quickly. Aroma is whisky, roasted malts, caramel and a bit of fruits. Medium dense body with low carbonation. Not too complex. I am personally not crazy about the whisky aroma present, but it’s not overwhelming, and still very much enjoyable.
