UPDATED: DEC 25, 2021 It pours copper with an off white head. Head retention is excellent. There are citrus aromas up front with some caramel. There are some pine notes in support with dried apricot notes. It has a definitive malt presence with caramel and citrus. The balance is nearly even with a slight tilt towards the hops. In addition there are pine and dried apricots. It has a medium body with strong bitterness in the finish without being harsh. Overall, a very good pale ale that is slightly balanced towards the hops.

UPDATED: NOV 16, 2021 12oz can. Pours a light copper color with a white head. Notes of pine and mango. Medium palate. Pretty good but not sure why so many over the top reviews for this one.

UPDATED: OCT 22, 2021 Fruity aroma of apricot and mango with a touch of citrus; a little caramel and bread. Fairly carbonated; pretty dry. Taste is quite hop dominated. Crisp and clean. A classic additive-free Pale Ale.

UPDATED: JUN 13, 2021 12 oz can. Pours a dark amber orange with a dense big buff head and lacing. Pine, citrus and leather smells. Tart hop forward bitter pine flavors with big balancing malt to match. Full bodied with medium carbonation a moderately oily mouthfeel and a medium tart/bitter finish. Super balance throughout.

UPDATED: MAY 25, 2021 12 oz can. Nice smell of citrus hops. Dark amber in color and hazy. Tastes starts juicy with a bitter citrus kick. Second sip moves to more west coast IPA territory as the ibu's build up.Tastes of grapefruit, orange, a touch of lime. Finishes with a bitter citrus kick. A nice hop bomb of an ipa. Yum

UPDATED: MAY 13, 2021 Can. Pours Clear rich amber-gold with large foamy light beige head, faint piney aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter lightly piney rich malt taste citrusy flavor, smooth body, long smooth finish. Velvet smooth!

UPDATED: NOV 4, 2021 12 can from Total Wine and More in Short Pump, VA The ale poured a clear dark amber color with an off-white head and ample lacing. Good looking ale with the aroma of citrus, caramel malts, and pine resin. The ale has a medium body with average carbonation. The taste of pine resin, citrus dominates this ale. We see only a few of Three Floyd brews in the RVA. This is a good one. ABV on the can was 6.66%

UPDATED: MAR 19, 2021 Pine needle, mango, rosehip nose. Clear deep amber, thick yellow head, nice lace. Rosehip, tea, honey, marigold. Medium body, easy carbonation. A lot of lovely flavor packed into just 6.5% ABV.
