UPDATED: NOV 28, 2021 16 ounce can. Hazy orange gold. Frothy beige head. Clinging lace. Earthy, sweet citrus aroma. Notes of lemon , mango, papaya, orange and diesel. Bittersweet citrus upfront. Then comes the hops. Bitter citrus peel, grapefruit and limon. At 100 IBU’s, this is a lupilin love fest!

The palate doesn't stand up to some of the floyds other stuff. It's bitter which is good but the bitterness overwhelm the other flavors. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: APR 10, 2021 A hazed golden amber DIPA with a thick creamy light mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with piney dank floral hops, grapefruit, light oxidation, pleasant. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with menthol, resinous hops, alcohol warmth, very nice.

UPDATED: MAR 17, 2021 a big west coast/midwest styled blast from the past. I hope the past can continue to be revisited in stuff like this versus the latest craze. I'd get this again, for the amount of booze, was not a malt bomb, very strong hop presence.

UPDATED: MAR 9, 2021 Smooth and flavorful with citrus fruit and just a hint of the tropics in there. Fuller body not quite chewy or not fully chewy. Frothy with a bit of woody caramel perhaps and a touch of flower...to mute the power?

UPDATED: FEB 26, 2021 Can. Pours fairly hazy deep orange. Grapefruit, floral, biscuit, bitter, orange, caramel. Good full body. Tasty.

UPDATED: FEB 12, 2021 Pours a slightly hazy light copper. Nose is candied orange and grapefruit peel. Taste is candied orange, lots of grapefruit peel, bitter, citrus. Nice old school DIPA

UPDATED: JAN 14, 2021 Love the flavor. Tastes of grapefruit and other florals. Only score below 3 cause it’s too bitter for my tastebuds. Probably only 3 Floyds beer I’ll pass on.

UPDATED: FEB 29, 2020 Pour is a chalky orange with a average white head. Aroma is a big time grapefruit hop. Flavor is more grapefruit with some dry chalky malt and a huge bitterness with the 100 IBU's. This has old school Impy IPA written all over it. Fresh grapefruit hops with tons of bitterness.

UPDATED: FEB 18, 2020 12oz bottle. Pours a clear orange with a very thin head of tiny white bubbles, evenly distributed over the surface. Aroma is big grapefruit hops along with some pine and other citrus. There is some light sweetness as well. Flavors actually come together much more gently than the description foretells. Easy to drink and delicious - it is really the brightness and (oddly) lightness of the grapefruit character than propels this beer ahead of its competition.
