Appearance is hazy yellowish-light brown with no sparkle, finger-width off-white foamy head with poor retention and fair leggy lacing. Aroma is moderately strong sweet fruits and berries along with brown sugar and caramel malts with pine. Taste is moderately strong sweet fruit salad and caramel malts with mild bitter. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, average carbonation, subtle alcohol warmth and mostly sweet finish but balanced with mild bitterness. Overall, age was probably not kind to this as it was almost certainly better fresh, but still decent fruity hops and malty balance.

This on tap beer's appearance is a small white head that is mostly lasting, amber, golden transparent body, no lacing observed, and a good amount of lacing. The aromas are citrus hops, tropical fruits, pineapple, earthy, and pale malt. The flavor presents light bitterness, citrus hops, tropical fruits, earthy, pale malt, and lightly sweet. The mouthfeel has light carbonation and smooth. This beer is light bodied. For the ABV and style, this beer is extremely easy to drink as it is not very hoppy or bitter tasting. This is a low class IPA and a disappointing Three Floyds IPA beer.

Medium body with a slightly oily feel. Smooth with an herbal grassy taste with some light bitterness. Finishes smooth with a light citrus rind aftertaste. Fairly enjoyable but nothing special.

T- Caramel, malty, pine, mild citrus, slightly bitter.
P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish.
O- Old school fo sho. Lots of caramel malt and some piney bitterness. What an IPA should taste like. Classic.
Braudog (8154) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - MAR 10, 2019UPDATED: MAR 10, 2019 Bottle. Musty orange, thin top. The aroma is vague, hinting at an earthen musk.
It has an initial citric acidity, but it finishes with a musky, mashy essence of mashed fruit -- tangerine, melon, orange peel. (#7353, 3/2019)
