UPDATED: JAN 4, 2022 Golden clear appearance with a small head.Gentle citrus flavours are present from the start. A good session beer.A bit understated for my taste but I guess a lot of people would like it, especially in cask form. This is a good reliable brewery producing reliable beers.

imdownthepub (22082) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 7, 2021
UPDATED: NOV 7, 2021 Cask conditioned at the Kidderminster Beer Festival '21, Worcs. Gold with white head. There is a light, bready malty character to this mostly, there is also a restrained citrus note. It's all light, thinnish with a lager type character. Nothing to get too excited by but it's okay.

UPDATED: JUL 6, 2019 Cask in the Three Tuns in Bishops Castle. Quite a flavoursome lemony blond ale.

BlackHaddock (12580) - The County Time Forgot, Shropshire, ENGLAND - JUL 14, 2018
7th July 2018, cask half-pint in The Castle Hotel, Bishops Castle (about 100 metres from the brewery. Clear golden pour, thin white head. The nose had equal measures of light maltiness and mild citrus esters, the taste was also a blend of those two ingredients, giving an easy drinking summertime brew that isn't going to test your senses too greatly, pleasant enough though.

minutemat (11726) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JUN 28, 2016
UPDATED: NOV 9, 2020 Cask pint @ The Bridges, Ratlinghope after an evening night ride to Stretton and back. Something about drinking cask after a strenuous bike ride that really brings out the sweetness. Didn't notice how sweet it was before. Had to go for a second pint. Very good. June 28th 2016: Gravity cask @ Shrewsbury Food Festival June 2016. Pours clear gold, white bubbles. Aroma is light lemon fruit. Taste is standard, but pleasant, traditional golden ale territory. Fine.

Towey1989 (5546) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 23, 2015
Cask at The Holy Inadequate, Etruria. A clear golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma is quite fruity of lemon, orange, biscuity malts and slight floral hop. Taste is similar of lemon, orange, slight grapefruit, biscuity malts and subtle floral hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A dry, floral hop bitterness in the finish. A bog standard dry, citrusy golden ale. Some biscuit in there which balances it out a little though.

On cask at Congress, Longton. Pours amber with white head. Quite a dry old style pale taste. Average.

Fin (15185) - Attenkirchen, Bavaria, GERMANY - AUG 23, 2014
Had this cask, gravity at Shrewsbury Folk Festival, Saturday 23rd August 2014 Pours clear gold with a sprinkling of white bubbles atop; good clarity. Old fashioned in style, malt forward, safe hoppiness. Not particularly crisp or hoppy or indeed that fruity. The malt dominates. Fine. A6 A4 T5 P3 Ov11 2.9
