bierkoning (18836) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - JAN 7, 2022
UPDATED: JAN 7, 2022 Bottle. Golden color with a pink haze. Floral, grapes, citrus and a hint of oak in the aroma. Grapes in the sour, floral flavor. Indeed typical Gewuerztraminer. Surprisingly good.

czar (13375) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 1, 2022
UPDATED: JAN 1, 2022 bottle courtesy of mathieuc, huge thanks man! pours unclear dark golden, almost orange-copper with a nicely reviving off-white cap offering some retention and lacing. tilquin funk with the help of intrinseque grape flora, drying golden grapeyness, no gewurtz sugars of course, some field berries, peppery astringent notes. healthy natural carbonation, light body - very oily; dry and perfectly tart woodsy-winey-spicy finish. wow - excellent grape lambic.

UPDATED: DEC 26, 2021 Bottle, 2020-2021 bb date 24/11/2030. Color: Hazy orangish golden, very thin white head. Aroma: A lot of farm barn wild yeast funk, grapeskin, tart. Taste: Farm barn and horse blanket funk, grapeskin, grape, hay, wood, grapeseed. Minerals. Bit moldy. A lot of tannins. Light sweetness. Dry, astringent mouthfeel. Over moderate tart, some wine vinegar notes. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Nice one.

PhillyCraft (11988) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 6, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 6, 2021 Bottle, hazy golden with smaller head. Getting a little bit of dirty diaper, and fecal notes in the aftertaste. Al gets a touch of sesame seed. Some nice grape skins, acidic lemon, rubbery nose, pepper, and tart minerals. The weird funk faded, but I expected more out of this one.

mike_77 (11723) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - NOV 21, 2021
UPDATED: NOV 21, 2021 Clear golden colour with quick fading head. Aroma and flavour have typical Tilquin yeasty funk and sharp acidity bordering the line of vinegar. Not as fruity as a I expected. Hints of unripe strawberry, sour apple. Still good but not the best fruit variation from them.

Marko (11972) - Prague, CZECH REPUBLIC - NOV 19, 2021
UPDATED: NOV 19, 2021 0.75l bottle courtesy of Mr. Fish, who shared it with the rest of us. Hazy golden body, white head. Funky aroma, lightly salty, eggy, lean, fresh, white grapes but without the typical Gewürztraminer profile. Lean taste, white grapes again - again without the GT profile I love, lean, funky, salty and herbal in a good way, the base is excellent, like all of these Tilquins, but this one was overshadowed heavily by the Riesling and the Pinot Gris in my book. Still excellent, mind you, just not on par with those.
