COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We have a bit of a sweet tooth at the brewery so with that in mind we made a stout for all pallets. This stout is not overpowering with roasted malts and coffee flavours, it is rich and full bodied but the sweetness of the caramel leaves you wanting more.

UPDATED: JAN 8, 2022 Bottle. Clearing out the fridge. Clear dark brown. Very decent thin tan head. Nose is remarkably none existent. Hint of caramel malt, at most. Taste follows suit. There’s literally nothing happening here. Watery and fizzy. Wow. Pointless.

Grumbo (14439) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - AUG 7, 2021
UPDATED: AUG 7, 2021 7/8/2021. Bottle bought at the brewery gate. Pours very dark mahogany brown with a large frothy off-white to beige head. Aroma of light roasted malt, fruit, berries, light caramel and coffee, touch of veg. Medium sweetness and light roasted bitterness. Moderate body, slight watery texture, foamy carbonation. Very mild on the caramel for what’s labelled a caramel stout.
