UPDATED: JAN 10, 2022 Can from Bowland Brewery shop. Appearance - deep brown to black with orange chinks and a creamy off white head. Nose - dark chocolate and generally cakey. Taste - more cake and chocate. Chocolate icing, a bit. Palate - medium plus bodied, creamy middle, slight dryness on the finish. A bit thin, mind. Overall - good, but pastry stout.

Nose is malt forward, chocolate cookies, brown sugar sprinkle, mellow roast. Taste comprises sweet chocolate pot, toffee fudge, cookie dough, caramel, chocolate maltesers. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light warming boost. Decent impy.
