UPDATED: SEP 1, 2021 Draft. A hazy golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of spices, lemons, and straw. The flavor is sweet with lots of spices, lemons, straw, and malt, leading to a dry spicy finish.

UPDATED: APR 24, 2021 Can sample at a tasting. Slightly hazy yellow with no head. The aroma has lots of butter popcorn, marshmallow, artificial, medicinal. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, butter popcorn, marshmallow, candy, artificial, medicinal. Full-bodied.

UPDATED: APR 20, 2021 Can at a tasting. Hazy orange. Butterscotch, medicinal, popcorn aromas. Sweet, caramel, vanilla, buttery, syrupy flavors. Medium-bodied, sticky. Not my thing.

UPDATED: MAR 26, 2021 Pours gold with a small white fine head. Nose shows caramel, butterscotch, cinnamon, vanilla, custard, toffee, coconut. Flavours include more cinnamon and custard, a heated boozy hit, brandy and sultanas, coconut rum, and a fair bit of sweetness. Hits the mark incredibly well, but not exactly something you can drink much of, or indeed, even want to try again!

UPDATED: MAR 10, 2021 Zeer positief verrast. Eerdere ratings waren niet heel hoog. Een White Porter is op zich al uniek. Deze is met advocaat (eggnog is typisch Christmas dingetje) en marshmallows. Prima combi. Zoet zoals verwacht. Maar niet te. Ik vind het goed gelukt.

Can. Light haze on this slightly pale gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Smooth light palate, mildly dry, reasonable fine minerally carbonation. Smooth malts, a little malt creamy sweetness with a big overlay of vanilla. As in huge. I'm getting the extra sweetness of the marshmallow and there is a very nicely judged amount of very light spice. Smooth finish. A nice sweet vanilla cream beer. Bares absolutely no resemblance to what most people would call a porter, but it doesn't take much to challenge Ratebeer styles these days.
