COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The powerful hop flavor in this double IPA touches down hard on your palate. Swirling together with Florida sugar cane, the bitterness is swept up in a spiral of malty goodness. So sip slowly and appreciate this perfect storm of complex taste - or it may just hit you full force like the tantalizing tornado it is.

Can. Sour orange, caramel malt, and grapefruit peel aroma. Amber with small head. Moderately sweet over-ripe orange, caramel malt, and strong bitter pine/orange peel flavor. Good body. A bit too sweet with harsh bitterness.

Where and how: can 12oz @ travels
Aroma honey, floral notes, lemongrass. Fairly muted for nominal 2IPA. Appearance : 3/5
Top: large white cap, some rings and nice lace. Long retention.
Base: cloudy amber.
Palate : medium plus bodied.
Taste: sugary, candy like notes. Feel of lemongrass, herbs with touch of citrus. Underwhelming.

12oz can, no BB, from Total Wine, Tampa.

Can courtesy of Cybercat, thank you! Clear golden amber color, large white head with good retention. Aroma of pine boughs, grapefruit. Taste is bitter resiny pine, oily mouthfeel, dry finish. Very tasty.

This beer is a delight. The malt and the sugars mellow the hops - - the hops are still present and penetrating, but this is a smooth, rich quaff. a unique and worthwhile take on the DIPA style, something to savor for it's creamy mildness, but with no compromise on the hop presence.

Can. Pours hazy amber with a thick and rather persistent buff head. Aroma delivers piney hops and zesty citrus. Flavor features these a little stronger, along with a nice underpinning of toasted malt. Mouthfeel offers ragged body and lively fizz. A storm in your mouth.

Draft at source. Deep gold to copper pour with a small white head that laces well. Nose is initiallly a touch of sweet honey malt. Light citrus hop character. Lightly bitter. A touch of sugar sweetness. Seems a touch or more underhopped for a DIPA.
