UPDATED: DEC 26, 2018 This isn't desperately exciting but it's a perfectly servicleable bitter.Looks perfect being clear amber with a white head, malty caramel in the smell and taste with a bit of zesty hop in there too. Pretty solid.

Veel minder dan de vorige van dezelfde brouwer. Niet heel verkeerd, maar niks speciaals. Beetje suf.

stravale (3335) - IRELAND - JUN 23, 2015
Bottle from Tesco, Holyhead [170615]
Dark amber, clear, bubbly thin white head
Aroma of caramel notes, barley malt, soft tea notes, fruity sweet caramel
Taste of caramel notes, soft tea, quite malty beer, dab of molasses, brown sugar, hint of dark honey, bit unusual
Palate - Medium body, rather sweet, bit oily, some soft bitterness, rather malty. Finish of sweet caramel, hint of brown bread.
Overall - Quite liked the flavour at first, but after a while found it got over sweet malty

Serving: 500 ml. bottle from State Line Liquors. Murky red pour with almost no head. Caramel aroma with a hint of paper and florals. Bready flavor with a little caramel sweetness. Odd, earthy bitterness. Light to medium body. Not worth seeking out.

Amber beer with a slight white head. Floral aroma. Quite sweet with floral citrus hop flavours. A bit of lemon meringue about it. Nice and refreshing.
