Brigadier (4590) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 1, 2021UPDATED: MAY 1, 2021 16 ounce can
A super sweet cocktail tastes more like fruit juice. An outlier for Toppling Goliath, this experience has put me off their sour program for at least a while. Perhaps this is an aberration but whatever the reason save your money for an IPA or stout instead.
AROMA / APPEARANCE
Tropical punch, mango, and sugary fruits coat the air with a sweet haze. In fact if you weren't paying attention you might mistake it for a glass of juice. The ruby red base also tricks the eyes for a few seconds - only the short lived head betrays the obvious.
FLAVOR / PALATE
Hi-C tropical punch, sweet fruits, and a splash of sour dance over the tongue. The results taste more like a beach mocktail than a beer. While refreshing it challenges the status quo. Overall it lacks anything that sets it apart much like some of Untitled Art's experimental sours. As a result it is hard to recommend despite not being the worst example of a fruited sour.

Light bodied, moderate tartness, lots of fruit flavors added, refreshing. 3.6/5, not great, not terrible.
