Named in honor of our brewery cat Elizabeth. On the border of English + American styles. English Malts add nice caramel/toffee notes while American hops add a fruity touch
UPDATED: MAY 13, 2021 Can from Greenpoint Beer & Ale. Pours faintly cloudy reddish brown with large foamy tan head, caramel malt aroma, low carbonation, bitter caramel malt taste, molasses, alcohol undertones, thin body, long bitter boozy finish. A bit boozy.
UPDATED: JAN 30, 2021 Can from explosivedog, shared with Chris M: pours muddy light brown with off white head. Aroma is a load of maltinesss, some dark fruits, some toast, with a mellow earthy hop undertone. Not too bitter or too intense of a barley wine. Very malty flavor. Dark fruity notes are there as well.
