My cousin-in-law loved this because it was so unlike every fruity beer he has had before--there was no actual fruitiness. That could be over-stated, as there was some cherry, but it was really timid. It didn’t produce any of the acidity or sourness that you would expect, especially from cherry. Just a light fruitiness that wasn’t bad, and at least was very drinkable. But it wasn’t a great beer. Bomber bought in Toronto and consumed four days later.

Clear orange in colour, very thin quickly dissipating white head, no lacing. Aroma is wheaty, lots of grains, cereal, very mild sweetness. Flavour is pretty tame, mild sweetness, a bit floral. Sweet mouthfeel, light body, medium carbonation. Finishes fairly quick, a bit syrupy.

Not a whole lot of cherries in this, if any actually. Another fantastically bad beer from Trafalgar.

650ml bottle purchased at the LCBO in Peterborough, Ontario.
Opened on May 26, 2010.
Best before October 2010.

Pale ruddy pour with a thin white lacing. The aroma is truly horrid. DMS and wheat with a lot of rank damp mustiness. Holy shit - this is absolute garbage. Tastes like wet dog and cardboard. Truly awful beer - you fooled me again Trafalgar - why the fuck do these guys continue to get LCBO listings?

I tried this beer on May 28, 2011 after purchasing from one of my local LCBO outlets. The beer poured a translucent amber colour with a very thin white ring for a head. The aroma is stale grass, very weak floral hops, and an extremely weak whiff of cherry. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied, with medium carbonation. Flavour is mainly malt and hops, with a drying bitter finish.

Bottle pours red tinted amber with a white head. Aroma shows sweet grainy malt and cherry syrup. Flavor shows the same with additional notes of toast and corn. Bleh.

A hazed golden ale with a super thick off white head. A nice gueuzy aroma, epsom salts, light cherry notes. In mouth, a smooth creany lactic cherry taste....if this is infected, the result was not too bad. Bottle from LCBO, tasted Nov. 2010.
