UPDATED: OCT 19, 2020 2019 edition (bbd 8/2021), bought 2/2020 at Achelse Kluis. Hazy medium golden, good frothy white head, good retention, after a while a thin layer full of yeast circles remains. Aroma sweet malt, grain, yeast, light citrus, honey, stinky socks, spicy notes. Taste prickly onset, medium sweet and bitter, malty, grain, light citrus, yeast, spicy notes. Full-bodied, oily texture, average carbonation, dry sweetbitter aftertaste, quite peppery, all in all still a bit 'rough' and lively, good.

UPDATED: JUL 29, 2020 2018 bottle at a tasting, thanks to Cuso. Moderate body, very high carbonation. Very well balanced, soft alcoholic warmth, subtle apple fruitiness. Slightly hard to drink, classic trippel. Classic, good, though not my style.
