COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Nomad is a czech-style dark lager, or tmavé pivo, constructed with deliberate attention to detail, tradition, and patience. It is brewed with authentic floor malted bohemian pilsner malt, german dark malts, and carefully selected noble hops. A laborious mashing and conditioning process yields a complex texture and malt profile. Nomad pours a nearly pitch black in the glass. Through extended, natural conditioning, not a hint of haze remains. An aggressive pour yields a thick and billowing head that clings to the side of the glass as you work your way through the pour. It is the most appealing looking beer we have made in recent memory. We taste mild chocolate, brown bread, hay, and earthy noble hops. It goes down remarkably easy while leaving a pleasant and lingering impression on your palate. The mark of a great beer is the ease in which it drinks in conjunction with potent, appealing, and incisive flavors. To that end, we are extraordinarily proud to offer Nomad to you for your enjoyment. I’m not sure if there is another beer we will collectively drink more of this autumn at Tree House.

Quick3Beers (2635) - East Falmouth, Massachusetts, USA - DEC 19, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 19, 2021 Pours a near black from a can, light colored head somewhat dissipates. Lightly roasty, chocolate notes are faint. Lightly sweet but also dry on the tongue. A very nicely understated but on point beer in a less-common style. Very good beer.

Steve6523 (98) - Schwenksville, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 19, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 19, 2021 Excellent dark lager / if you like good Vienna’s and European lagers versus the nasty American versions, this is your guy here. Just dark and chocolatey enough.

marchbrown (285) - - NOV 29, 2021
UPDATED: NOV 29, 2021 What a day, a first day in many ways and certainly one which marks leaving the nomad lifestyle behind for the more mundane day-to-day march in as a lemming but nonetheless something which will be good for me, open up opportunity, and allow me to open up more really great beers such as this one as I move toward 10x.

3.7
GDTRFB (7867) - Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA - NOV 9, 2020
UPDATED: NOV 9, 2020 Pours mahogany-tinged cola into a shaker. Mocha pancake head with good retention recedes leaving scant sheets. Milk chocolate and dark caramel aromas. Dry and thin with sweet caramel and toasted brown bread front to back. Lasting dusty chocolate finish.

tapefuzz (2157) - Massachusetts, USA - OCT 1, 2020

Vague coffee fruitiness towards the end. Light-medium body. Medium+ carbonation. Thin, watery mouthfeel. It's doesn't really taste of much.

ctipping (3902) - Florida, USA - DEC 2, 2019
UPDATED: DEC 2, 2019 16 oz. can. Almost black. Smells of nutty, bready, and light chocolate malts. A bit of spicy hop. Tastes of spicy hops and light roasted malt that comes off slightly sharp. Finishes with a little lingering malt and sharpness. Light body. I don't drink a lot of this style, but I don't remember the ones I have had being this acidic.
