COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
From can: Very Gggreennn is a beer we have tried not to brew for a long time. It is very difficult to imagine improving upon the tirelessly refined Green family. We were judicious with our hop usage here, and by constructing a base beer that is substantial enough to elevate a big hop charge, we think we did this beer justice. It's not an every day beer for us, but one we are proud to have created for those special moments that require just a little something extra. Juice of the highest order. Savor, and enjoy. Thank you.

Scopey (21884) - Oldmeldrum, SCOTLAND - JUL 3, 2021
UPDATED: JUL 3, 2021 Canned early June 2021. It pours classic TH - turbo cloudy milky golden - orange with a thick, fluffy off- white head. The aroma is bright and crazy ripe, layers of ripe tropical fruits, melon, peach, mango, papaya, pineapple, tangerine, grapefruit, kumquat, pomelo, bright green vibes, weedy, dank and bong rips. The taste is firmly dry, some green bitterness which lingers throughout, spicy, fairly thick, brioche, floury bread, weedy, green, bong rips, wet herbs, pine needles, pithy, zesty, tropical vibes, pulpy juice, grapefruit, kumquat, satsuma, orange rind, kick of spice through a firmly dry and green finish. Medium+ body and moderate carbonation. Lovely stuff. Green, bitter and fruity. Good depth of flavour. Satisfying. Grade A hop juice.

ClarkVV (9063) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - JUN 19, 2021
UPDATED: JUN 19, 2021 4 pack canned 6/1 and drunk over the next 2.5 weeks, most recently on 6/19/21. Heavily hazy, sunny-orange-canteloupe with a small, white head showing low retention. Beautiful Green-series watermelon character just instantly elevates this. Some twang is very light, but present. No alcohol or aspirin and a ton of mango, peach, lime and grapefruit. I really like the flavor of this one. Tough to compare to Very Green as it's obviously very similar, but the watermelon character is so sweet, soft and juicy without being cloying. Mouthfeel is chewy for sure and I think that's to the absolute benefit of the beer, not problematic as PhillyBeer says. There's a LOT of hop heat/twang here and it takes all the texture and then some to balance/soak it up. It's rich and intense and there's a ton of pepper/heat on the end, even at 18 days old. Still, that watermelon flavor just kills me. A beer for a special occasion, for sure.

50belair (4330) - Florida, USA - JUN 15, 2021
UPDATED: JUN 15, 2021 Can. Hazy dark yellow pour with a white head. Citrus and tropical fruit bouquet. Super well balanced with slightly prickly carbonation. Mildly bitter hops, with heavy citrus notes, blend harmoniously with sturdy caramel malts. Hints of pineapple with maybe just a flutter of vanilla in the finish. Outstanding body and mouthfeel. A world class IPA.

PhillyCraft (11988) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 13, 2021
UPDATED: JUN 13, 2021 hazy murky bright yellow golden. Slightly better than the Very Hazy, but it’s pretty similar. Lychee, candy orange slices, and other rotting tropical fruit. Less sweet, but there’s a serious hop burn and booziness in the finish. Way too chewy for the mouth, but that’s what the kids want
