COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Seesaw Series is our gose playground. Designed to capture delight and fun in the form of an easy-drinking and flavorful beer. Each Seesaw has a unique fruit addition to pair with balanced tartness, a touch of salinity, and ABV on the lower side. The nostalgic thrill of warm-weather fun, reimagined in one of our favorite styles. The number of Seesaws dictates once, twice, or three times the fruit added.

Plum takes the lead in this recipe, from the dark purple hue, on through aroma and flavor. It's accompanied on the nose by a huge burst of fresh peach and ripe berries, showcasing the double dose of fruit. On the palate, stonefruit character is complemented by notes of tart citrus and blueberries. Medium-light body with a rounded note of salinity and a crisp finish that will keep you in that summer mindset.

MALT: Pale Malt, White Wheat

HOPS: CTZ

Light maroonish purple color. Not nearly as fruity as the raspberry or black currant, but the fruits in there work together well. Maaaaybe a bit more blueberry and plum than peach. Light to moderate pucker. Refreshing tasty brew.

Can picked up by B-Rob. Muddy red/maroon color. Big head but it was poured aggressively. Nose of tart fruit. Heavy on the blueberry and plum aroma. Taste is a clean tart fruit beer. Lots of plum and berries. Taste is fruity and tart. Body is light and refreshing. Overall: Good stuff

Can at home in Hackney - big thanks to Burton for sourcing from the brewery. Pours hazy purple with a small, foamy pink head. Reasonably acidic, lots of tart plum, a little fleshy blueberry, lemon. Medium bodied with spritzy carbonation. Quenching finish, with nice cleansing acidity, more plummy tartness, seedy blueberry, inklings of peach I guess, a bit more citric bite. Nice mix.

Can drunk 8/22/18.
Murky, soupy, violet-tinted blackberry with light ruddy hues in the light. Raspberry jam-tinged, beige head tops it, fading fairly steadily to a ring.
WHAP! Huge shot of sourness in the nose seems to stem from a mix of heavily tart/tannic fruit acidity and very strong lactic and moderate acetic acid. Smells like it's going to burn when you drink it. There are some juicy undercurrents, light biscuit and cereal-like malts and no salinity of note. It's way too acidic, though, almost off-putting.
In the mouth, while it's certainly sour, it's no where near what I expected. A good mix of plum and peach acid but a very soft, wheat-heavy texture helps to soak up a ton of the acid. Further, there is some sweet base malt to help balance, and the blueberry is lightly seedy and spicy, with earthy tones that don't exacerbate the acidity of the other fruits. Low but tight carbonation with no alcohol or flaw. Definitely needs more time to congeal and for the acidity to soften. But it's absolutely jam-packed with delicious, authentic fruit flavors. Not sure why they are calling these goses, but whatever, not really a big deal.

Can shared with Brendan, Andrew and Ellen. Pours a deep reddish purple body with thin ring of pink lace. Nose is fresh bouquet of mixed berry fruits. Mouthfeel is medium to light bodied, tart and sessionable; fruity without being cloying or too sweet.
