UPDATED: FEB 2, 2019 Bottled. Hazy amber, small head. Aroma of pear, white pepper and caramel. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Peppery and husky, some perfume, pears and apricot. Husky warming mid bitter finish.

330mL bottle, pours a deep dark amber with a small off-white head. Nose smells more English, with bready malt, caramel, and a bit of earthy spiciness from the rye. Flavour is quite rich, with a nice balance of caramel malt and earthy spiciness from the rye. Quite English, with lots of sweet bready malt, toffee and brown sugar on the finish. Nicely rounded. Good stuff.

UPDATED: MAY 20, 2018 330 ml. bottle split with alex_leit @ Beercap – Minsk. Same yeast, medicinal, herbal profile as their other beers,… Comparable to Sparysh actually. Caramel, sugar amber, tanned head. Nose is that medicinal profile, herbal, cough syrup, yeast. Taste is harsh raw pine, herbal, pine, chewy, interesting medicinal, spice, herbal. Medicinal herbal body, interesting.

ABV: 8.6%. Clear matt medium orange amber colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly to fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, dried fruit, raisin - alcohol socked raisin, alcohol, light wood, light to moderate yeasty, phenol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, caramel, oak, dried fruit, phenol - alcohol. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20180204]

0,33 l flaske på RBHD-samling, Lura, okt.2017. Tåkete oransje kropp og hvit ring langs kanten. Søt alkonese med innslag av honning. Kraftig søt smak med noe balanserende bitterhet som har innslag av våt papp. Bitterheten varer lenge. En del alkovarme. Fyldig og nesten flat.
