klm1 (2684) - Bled/SF, - OCT 26, 2016Bought it somewhere in Chicago; Bottled on 2015:
Pours black, clear, with creamy one finger beige /light brown head. Aroma: intense mokka coffee, hint of caramel, vanilla, some dark fruits in the background as prunes, plums etc. Flavor: Intense coffee note, which takes on mokka, espresso, supported with malt backbone, which takes on toasted, hint of caramel, 85% dark chocolate, supported with notes of dark fruits, like plums, prunes, some reisins...finish is slightly bitter, hop bitterness takes on some citruses...and dry. Body is medium to full, texture is soft, velvetly, carbonation is moderate medium.
Overall: for 9.2% dangerously drinkable, with any notice of an alcohol and pretty well balanced, especially for a Beer where Coffe was added.
